Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Welder GTM (the "Service") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Welder is the controller of the personal data processed to provide the Service. If you have questions, contact support@weldergtm.com.
Information we collect
We collect: account data (such as your email address and authentication identifiers); workspace data you provide (product URL, product details, writing examples, images, and settings); content the Service generates and publishes on your behalf; connected-account metadata and access tokens for the social platforms you link; billing data processed by our payment provider; and technical data such as log entries, device and browser information, and usage events needed to operate and secure the Service.
How we use information
We use your data to provide and improve the Service: to build your product understanding, draft content in your approved voice, schedule and publish posts to your connected accounts, process payments, provide support, secure the Service, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.
Legal bases for processing
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process personal data to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), to pursue our legitimate interests (securing and improving the Service), to comply with legal obligations, and, where required, with your consent — for example when you connect a social account and authorize publishing on your behalf.
Service providers and subprocessors
We share personal data with vetted providers that process it on our behalf, under contract and only as needed to run the Service: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Stripe (payment processing), Vercel (application hosting and delivery), Resend (transactional email), OpenRouter (access to the AI models that draft content), and the official APIs of the social platforms you connect (to publish and read back your posts). Each provider processes data under its own terms and safeguards.
Connected social accounts and tokens
When you connect a social account, we store the access tokens needed to publish and read your content through that platform’s official API. Tokens are stored encrypted and are used only to perform the actions you configure. You can disconnect an account at any time, which revokes our stored access for that platform.
AI processing of your content
To draft content, the text we send to the AI models includes the product information, writing examples, and settings from your workspace. We send only what is needed to generate a draft and do not use your workspace content to train third-party foundation models beyond what is required to return a result for your request.
Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After you cancel or delete a workspace, we retain data for a limited wind-down period and then delete or anonymize it, except where a longer period is required for legal, tax, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise these rights, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, by contacting support@weldergtm.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including outside the European Economic Area. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to protect it.
Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption of credentials and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to notify you of incidents where required by law.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service securely. We do not use advertising cookies. Your browser settings let you control cookies, though disabling necessary cookies may prevent the Service from working.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice, for example by email or within the app. The date below shows when this policy was last updated.
